Hello! My name is Leigha Ford-Shelton, RN, MSN, FNP-BC I am the Owner. I’ve been a registered nurse for 20 years and a family nurse practitioner for 10 years. With my knowledge base I began a career in medical aesthetics in 2016. Peridot Health and Wellness Center is my passion. I love educating our clients on all of the aesthetic services we offer. I help clients enhance and embrace their beauty within. PDO threads and dermal filler are my favorite services to offer! I also will assist with your weight loss journey with our Semaglutide weight loss program. Let me help you reach your health and beauty goals!

My name is Mariam and I am a family nurse practitioner! I have a passion working in the aesthetic industry. It’s rewarding helping people feel beautiful. I specialize in anything from Botox, filler, facial peels, micro-needling and IV therapy.

I have been a nurse for 2 years and working in the healthcare field for nearly 8+ years. I have always been intrigued with beauty and cosmetics such as makeup and skin care. When I met Leigha while in my nursing program, she let me shadow her and taught me different techniques for various treatments. That is when I became interested in aesthetic nursing and desired to combine my love for nursing with beauty cosmetics. My favorite motto to say about aesthetic nursing is “It’s like working the best of both worlds!” I take pride in helping individuals find their inner beauty and turn those insecurities into confidence.
